Frequently asked questions
What time can I pick up/drop off my dog?
Check-in: 2pm - 4 pm
Check-out: 10am - 12 noon
Sticking as closely to these times as possible allows us to charge by the night rather than the day which means if you have booked a two night stay, you will be charged for two nights, not three days.
Arrival/Departure outside of these times is possible by prior arrangement but during busy times you may have to book an extra night.
What vaccinations does my dog need?
We cannot accept your pet without proof of current vaccination from your vet for the following:
Distemper, Parovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis.
This can either be an up to date and signed vaccination card OR a valid Titer test certificate.
(please note, not all Titer certificates includes the test for Leptospirosis, check with your vet that your animal is covered).
We do not require the vaccination for Kennel Cough but suggest to seek the advise of your vet and if necessary, it must be given AT LEAST TWO WEEKS before check-in.
Will my dog mix with other dogs?
No, to keep all the dogs in our care safe, we don’t mix dogs from different households no matter how lovely they are!
Why do you take a deposit and how can I pay it?
To minimise no-shows. Sadly, it happens and we turn away guests, so to make sure no one who really needs it is turned away, we ask for either 15% of the total booking amount or £10 (whichever is greater).
You can call the kennel to pay by card over the phone, or we accept BACS payments, (please mark your payment with the booking reference provided on your confirmation email).
